Traditional marketplaces are changing the way they operate, going up and downstream with new collaborations. From manufacturing to warehousing, store management and logistics, marketing and customer care, sellers have to be extremely involved in all aspects of their business.

To succeed in the world of E-Commerce, Marketing is above all. Having sai that, anyone can launch an international business from anywhere. Even a small manufacturer can start a global operation and become a brand.

Why does the concept work so well? We are all creatures of habit with access to a lot of information where we are used to making impulsive buying decisions and E-Commerce platforms provide the perfect playground.

Amazon has an approximate traffic of 2.5 billion people, eBay has around 1.1 billion, Ali Express around 700 million, Walmart around 300 million and Wish.com around 90 million.

Amazon and eBay have more than 60% of the traffic in the US. However, it does not mean that other platforms like Ali Express do not operate there.
